The National Capital Region Tamil Association (NCRTA) held its second annual general meeting on Saturday Oct 28, 2006, at the South Pointe Community Centre in Barrhaven -- Ottawa.

Elections were held for executives and directors of the 15 member 2006-2007 board. The positions elected were President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary, Assistant-Secretary, Cultural Coordinator, Youth Coordinator, and Sports Coordinator. In addition, seven directors including 3 Chapter Coordinator (Ottawa Nepean, Ottawa West, Ottawa East/Centre) were also elected.

NCRTA would like to thank all those who participated and gave valuable inputs during its second AGM.
