The National Capital Region Tamil Association (NCRTA) will hold its Fifth Annual General Meeting on
Saturday, October 24th, 2009.

Following the AGM, vegetarian dinner (string hoppers) will be served at a cost of $5.00 person ($10 maximum per family). We would like members and the public interested in attending the AGM and joining us for dinner to RSVP by Wednesday, October 21st 2009, so we can make the necessary arrangements.

Elections:
Elections will be held for all the 15 executive positions of
the NCRTA board for a 2 year term. As stipulated in the NCRTA
constitution, none of the current board members can run for
the same positions they currently hold.
Following are the NCRTA board executive positions:
President
Vice-President
Secretary
Assistant-Secretary
Treasurer
Cultural Coordinator
Youth Coordinator
Sports Coordinator
3 Area Coordinators (Ottawa-Nepean, Ottawa West, Ottawa-Centre)
4 Executives-at-large
Any NCRTA member, meeting the requirements as set by the
NCRTA Constitution, can run for any of the board positions
and vote in the elections.
