7th Annual Rawle Williams Memorial Cricket Game

Greetings All,

Nepean Cricket Club and New Edinburgh Cricket Club are hosting the 7th Annual Rawle Williams Memorial Cricket Game on August 5th, 2011 to honour the memory of Mr. Saba Ravishankar, a beloved member of both clubs.

Date: Friday, August 5th, 2011
Time: 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Venue: Rideau Hall Cricket Grounds, Ottawa

This year, we are supporting the Canadian Cancer Society in our fundraising efforts and are hoping to make a good contribution to fighting this terrible disease that has affected so many people and touched so many families.

Ravi Anna was a gentleman with a great and generous heart and a key force in the creation of this memorial match that has helped other charities over the years. We feel that the choice of the Canadian Cancer Society is fitting as we will all win when this disease is beaten.

We urge you to help us with this fundraiser and to make a donation. Donations over $ 20 are eligible for a tax receipt from the Cancer Society. All donations made will be given 100% to the Society to continue their good work.

The money raised from this event helps fund leading-edge cancer research that is improving cancer treatments, preventing cancer and saving lives; provide reliable and up-to-date information on cancer, risk reduction and treatment; offer vital community-based support services for people living with cancer and their families; and advocate for healthy public policies.
