We are planning on hosting a For & Against debate for the kids over 14 years of age. There will be two teams debating against each other.
To ensure the debate will be interesting and engrossing we are providing below the topics that will be used in the debate. Please take sometime and prepare in advance the for & against arguments on these topics.
Since you will not know if you will be arguing For or Against on these topics till the time of the debate, it would be best if you can prepare both points, ie. For & Against, for each topics:
- Kids should live away from the parents while going to University
- We are too dependent on email and cell phones
- Social Networking is essential to succeed in life
- Internet should have some sort of censorship to protect kids
- We are a throw away society
- Government should have a say in our diets
- Magazines marketed for teenagers send the wrong messages
- Average family can make a difference by going green
