National Capital Region Tamil Association (NCRTA) held its premier winter social event "The annual winter picnic" on Saturday, March 01, 2014. It is the ninth time NCRTA has organized this premier social event. The resounding success of the evening was very evident from the huge turnout and the enthusiastic audience participation in the events. It was also very heartening to see and welcome lots of new faces who attended an NCRTA event for the first time. A very big thank you to all those who joined us, enjoyed excellent entertainment, great tasty food and made this event a great success.
The evening had everything required to make an indoor picnic successful; energetic youth dances, fun filled interactive games, awards and appreciation, excellent food and resourceful MCs who kept the audience entertained through out the evening.
An event like this requires the dedication and hard work of many volunteers. On behalf of the NCRTA board, I would like to express our sincere gratitude to the volunteers who worked hard in the background to pull together all the pieces of the event, the volunteers who pitched in to help at the venue to run the event smoothly and many more volunteers who helped in preparing the programs and the participants who participated in the programs to make the event very entertaining.
Our appreciation and thank you to all our sponsors who supported us financially by placing advertisements in our event booklet. Please support our sponsors and if you decide to give them your business, let them know that you saw their advertisement in our booklet.
